this is a direct quote from larry brown. nice to finally hear it said by someone from the other side of the floor. what i normally hear from piston fans is that the refs stole the game from them. the fact is that the pistons get away with murder on the court and only get called half the time when they should. rip hamilton should get called for travelling every time he touches the ball. when he makes a move, 45% of the time he should get called for either hooking or pushing off. . .and the list could go on throughout most of the playing lineup. don't get me started on lindsey hunter. one class player for detroit is antonio mcdeyes. he doesn't even fit in with the rest of the team. he outclasses everyone else wearing a piston jersey. wish we could've seen more of darko. perhaps they will send him to the developmental league.
it was nice to enjoy this game with a piston fan. . .almost as nice as enjoying the ohio state buckeyes defeat u of m a few months ago at the home of a u of m graduate. what a great year for sports. now if only the dodgers could get on a major hot streak (they have won their last 2. . .against nl west leading padres).
i was reminded earlier today that i forgot to mention the warrior child's imitation of willy wonka the other day. after watching it once, he went down the hallway and got his blue beach bucket (to imitate the top hat) and a nerf-like melvin-ball bat (to imitate the cane) and he hobbled along eventually dropping the cane and doing a summersault. he even did the little hand thing after dropping the bat. very clever little big guy.
some stuff i would like to say, but must remain silent about. perhaps in coming months all with unfold. though i usually enjoy getting rumors started, this is not a birth announcement.
more later. . .
peace and java
