amazing to see the fun that some 7th graders have getting into their lockers. always have one or two late to class due to locker issues. one student had 3 teachers attempt to help him before the office came with the key. i think it is all a big conspiracy. someone has sealed the 7th grade lockers with superglue.
the blondedude admitted to me that macs are confusing. in a conversation regarding the new terminal servers he stated that they were a lot like macs and kind of confusing all in the same sentence. what an admission. funny thing about this new g5. . .every article i read talked about what they left out (like internal wiress and tv out). poor macs. . .trying to catch up to the pc market.
my most recent experience with the mac at work was a terrible one. using cyberduck (ftp client) i uploaded the past 2 weeks sermons. . .but when i went to access them i was told that access was denied. i had to manually delete each file and re-upload them using my laptop. the guys in the office can verify that i was hip to cyberduck until this recent revelation. if anyone knows of a mac ftp program that doesn't change security settings on files, let me know.
the warrior child took a tragic turn for the worst today. the wife checked pbs today to see if there were any worthwhile educational programs on. unfortunately, barney was on. my son now sings the theme song and talks favorably talks about barney. it may take a lot of work to flush his mind of such drivel. we'll start with some dodger baseball and then add a little osu football.
got hip to gmail from google. amazing. 1 gig of space and unique search/filing features. unfortunately it is currently available only by invitation. at this time. hopefully soon it will be open to the public. keep an eye out for it.
more later. . .
peace and java
