north vs. south

when you move from the north to the south you learn a lot of interesting facts. . .like people in the south think the civil war is still going on today. poor losers. you also learn a lot of new terminology and pronunciation. eventually this starts to wear on you and before long you find yourself addressing a group as "ya'll". to find out where your speech patterns are rooted, check out this site and take the test. my wife scored a 39% which apparently is on the yankee side. i scored an even 50% so that makes me normal (?) i guess.

new poll. though i am a loyal osu fan, i must give the advantage this year to the msu spartans. they certainly seem to be the best team in the big 10. i predict they will win an outright big ten championship this year. purdue blew their shot last week.

more later. . .

peace and java
