we made it safely into colorado. . .despite a leaky cabin on our flight here. nothing inspires confidence like a non-stop drip in the middle of the airplane.
we were able to cover most of the area we worked tonight, which wasn't expected. we covered a lot more ground that anticipated. many seemed very open and receptive to the information. the goal has been to spread the word quickly via doorhangers as opposed to door-to-door visiting, however some of the team have had opportunities to talk with people out in their yard. i was asked by a kid if i was from somebody's house. when i told him i was from michigan he just stared at me like i was trying to pull a prank on him. me being from michigan is sad enough, but no prank.
finished the day by getting into the hot tub at the hotel (suffering for Jesus). it felt good on the feet and neck. pool had too much chlorine. . .oh the dangers we face out here in the wild mission field.
perhaps i will have some pictures tomorrow. . .but so far i haven't taken any. lots of others have taken pictures. . .mostly of all of us sitting around. we did miss an opportunity to get a picture of marcia asleep in the van. we could it next to the pic of tracy on the africa trip.
almost ended up driving an suv. . .maybe even a santa fe. sorry daniel.
more later. . .
peace and java
