praise: dalton didn't seriously injure himself when he fell down our basement stairs today.
prayer: dalton does have a cold.
playfulness: dalton likes cars. landon never has been a big "car-player." on friday, dalton asked for the little people garage. i put it on the floor and he immediately laid down on his belly to investigate it. i gave him a car and a person and then helped auburn with something. when i looked back at him he had put the person in the car and was making car noises while moving the vehicle around. very cute. i unfortunately didn't have the camera with me. after my dash through the house, he had already moved on to a bigger truck.
for those of you who remember when i began decorating auburn's room (pre-dalton days)...i finally finished it. yes, i know-it's only 1.5 later. here are the pics as you walk in her room and then look right.
i took the kids over to my parents on saturday night to play on amanda's slip-n-slide and the kiddie pool. i even played (no pics of that). auburn and dalton didn't last as long as landon, but we all had fun.
as my dad was emptying out the pool, he was throwing the water at landon. landon thought it was great, and i think dad did it about 20+ times.
recently, several people have told me how much they think landon looks like my brother derek. what do you think? i can see it.
auburn's hair is finally long enough to put it into pigtails again. hopefully she won't try a self-trim any time soon.
i purchased this "froofy" dress for auburn-intending it for next summer. it will not last that long. here's my princess.
everytime she smiled nicely, dalton would sit on my lap or landon would walk in the pic. so...here is my prince and princess.
